Natalie’s Story

The interest rate was about 18%, Natalie’s car had just been totaled, she was at home with a new baby and her husband was just laid off.  There was an ad in the paper to take the real estate class and to fill time Natalie Danielson signed up….

Within two months she passed the exam and started her career at CENTURY 21 Flowers Realty in Kirkland as a team with her quiet, shy husband.  Their son slept on a blanket on the floor in the office as they hustled for business in a real estate market that was seriously struggling with impossible mortgage interest rates, foreclosures, and environmental issues like formaldehyde hampering the sales of homes.  After their second child he left her with the two children and remarried.  Natalie moved to RE/MAX as one of the first agents for the company in the region.

No one ever saw that hot air balloon in the northwest!  Natalie was very successful as an agent.  In addition, she was active with the Association of REALTORS as a Director for SKCAR and as membership chair raising membership numbers to the highest in history after speaking to real estate offices throughout Puget Sound.  She was presented the Presidents Award for Distinguished Service! She is also know as the original founder of  Connections a womens conference that was sold out for 9 years in Seattle and Bellevue.

In 1994 after the sudden death of her mother she took the risk and started a real estate school focusing on Continuing Education called Professional Direction.  Featured on the front page of the Journal American Newspaper and on King 5 News, her guts to head into entrepreneurship with two small babes and little resources was profiled. She started the school the year that continuing education was required for real estate agents in Washington.. so it was the right place and right time.

Professional Direction has grown to be one of the largest schools in the state, with hundreds of agents taking classes from Natalie, one of her hundreds of instructors, or from her website www.clockhours.com..

Her book, ARE YOU A SECRET AGENT, will be finished early 2009 and available exclusively from her website.

She is deeply thankful for all those who have contributed to her career… for all the blessings in her life….  most importantly to her children who were with her every step of the way.

Her son is the Director of Sales and Marketing for a company that owns many golf courses here in the Puget Sound Region.  In addition, he has been an inspirational speaker and leadership trainer across the US in over 30 states for high school students at DECA, FBLA, and other leadership conferences.

Her daughter has been working at the Clinton Foundation, President Bill Clinton’s organization that is changing the world bringing non profit companies together with the worlds leaders to bring health and education to those in need.  She is finishing her college education in 2008.

There you go…
