Don’t get Discouraged
The market is slow.. we know that… there is gloom and doom everywhere….. but… know.. that August is always a slow time. Get your ducks in line for September. I am working hard to schedule classes, write new ones, get other instructors out there teaching and starting to make things happen for September’s “back to school” time. Get in touch with your FAN CLUB… do you know who they are? Who are your 100 greatest fans?
New laws were passed by the Washington State Legislature this spring.
So basically, how it affects you as an agent.. is that if you are a “salesperson” today you will become a “Broker” at your renewal AFTER July 2010. You will need to take a 3 clockhour Transition course (every agent will take it) along with Core as part of your 30 hours.
If you are an “associate broker” today, you will become a “managing broker ” at your renewal after July 2010. You will need to take a 3 clockhour Transition course along with the Core as part of your 30 hours.
If you are a “designated broker” today you will stay a “designated broker” at your renewal after July 2010. You will need to take a 3 clockhour Transition coures along with the Core as part of your 30 hours.
“Brokers” upon their FIRST RENEWAL July 2010 (which could be in 2012 or 2013) you will have to take your 30 hour continuing education (including the core), Real Estate Law, and Advanced Practices (which hasn’t been written yet.)
